Three Days on Working Station

G'day. I bit belated it is time to update the blog again. The last couple of weeks were kind of busy and little time to spent online. Leaving Airlie Beach with a night but, I arrived in this town called Rockhampton by 5.15 am (!). To make it short: Rockhampton is probably the laest visitworthy town I have ever seen except for the couple of days when there are the big horse and cattle auctions when the city is full of truckers and farmers. Else then that it is dead, fills with a few truckers and farmers and luckily a 24h McDonals for killing time.
Anyways. Luckily, I did not count on spending time in Rockhampton and got my 6.30 am pick up for my three day Myella farmstay in the outback for some quiet days on the working station.
The three days were more than worth it, spending time having fun and helping out on the farm. Feeding the 5month old orphan kangoroo Jojo or the Roo, talking to the non-flying parrot Pink Floyd or hairless kakadu Hairy, horse riding on the bossy Lady Floss or walking around the farm including its fantastic rusty playground (Lyn, please fight for keeping at least the truck!), motor biking or mountain biking around the outback.
Pics are available on Facebook, the blog is striking right now.
